HONEY GARLIC MEATBALLS
Sweet, but tangy, honey garlic meatballs are a family favourite!
I make this meal about every 6 weeks (or more!) for my family because it is my kids’ favourite meal by far. Even my can-be-picky toddler always asks for seconds of this meal. I don’t know what makes this meal all that special, but it is definitely a favourite around here!
Preheat your oven to 375ºF. I love to make meatballs, don’t let them intimidate you, and you can see my favourite way to make them here. I use the same recipe for all my meatballs and just tweak the flavours a bit. Mix your ground beef, quick-rolled oats, eggs, milk and garlic seasonings together. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place meatballs on it and cook for about 30-35 minutes or until no longer pink in the middle.
While the meatballs are cooking you can make the sauce. I keep it really simple and just tweaked my honey garlic BBQ sauce a bit for these meatballs. Place all the sauce ingredients: pressed garlic cloves, ketchup, honey and soy sauce—in a large sauce pan and heat through. Add meatballs to sauce, toss and serve!
